Breeding colony management is available through the DLAR husbandry section. These services are not covered by the standard per diem and are recharged to the principle investigator. Services include: mating of animals, pregnancy checks, weaning of animals, record keeping, investigator contact and additional cage preparation and changing. Services are provided by a husbandry supervisor. The recharge rate for 2008/09 during normal working hours is $45.00/hr. The recharge rate after normal working hours, is $60.00/hour.
